Start with bills and load data, roof/land ownership, sanctioned load, structural and shade survey, interconnection feasibility, water or process duty and client acceptance criteria. A useful DPR states assumptions, alternatives, risks and exclusions rather than presenting one unexplained capacity.
PV projects require layout, string design, SLD, cable schedule, protection, earthing, lightning, structure and energy estimate. Solar hot-water projects require load profile, collector field, storage, hydraulics, pump duty, controls, backup, safety and heat-loss analysis. IFC drawings control site work.
Approved make/model schedules, certificates, inspection plans, serial traceability and warranty documents precede dispatch. Construction uses method statements, safety permits, quality checklists, torque/pressure records and red-line drawings. Variations are priced and approved before execution.
Commission against measurable tests: insulation resistance, earthing, polarity, inverter settings, generation baseline, hydraulic pressure, flow, temperature, pump rotation and control interlocks as applicable. Handover includes as-builts, manuals, training, spares, warranty register and an O&M plan.
